Onyx Takes It Back With Their Latest Single “Just Slam”

Onyx takes us back in time with their new Album 1993. Ukrainian producer Stasevich handles the production on the album, crafting a sound reminiscent of the New York City “Golden Era” of Hip Hop. The latest single “Just Slam” carries on the groups legacy of rowdy, high energy Hip Hop.

On the new track, Onyx member raps “You could Red and Meth,Travis Scott, Uzi Vert/ We the Slamboyz motherf*cker we did it first.”

Onyx exploded on the Hip Hop scene in 1993, representing South Jamaica, Queens, New York City. Their single “Slam” went platinum, making their album “Bacdafucup” and instant classic. Group members Sticky Fingers, and Fredro Starr would grow beyond rap and earn popular roles on the silver screen.
