Marchitect Returns With Full Length Album “Marc: My Words”

Marchitect (from the Hip Hop group The 49ers) has released a new solo album titled Marc: My Words on Yaheard Records. The 12 song album was produced by Marchitect, with additional production from Dj Mech and Complexx. After the success of 6 albums with The 49ers including an ITunes #1 in Japan (“Imagine” Re:plus and The 49ers), Marchitect has returned to his roots as a boom bap producer, and clever lyricist. This formula launched Marchitect’s career in the early 90’s as a child rapper with the single “Dead In Your Tracks” when Billboard magazine said “Marchitect has a solid future as a rapper”. In the decades to follow, the Delaware native would tour the world performing with the likes of Common, Kool Keith, Ice- T, Wiz Khalifa, Krs- One, The Brand New Heavies, and more

Marc: My Words is Marchitect’s most hands on project to date. From the production to the lyrics, to the turntablism Marchitect covers the full spectrum of Hip hop. “I wanted to make an album that gave fans around the world what I felt they deserve, which is my best effort. I love Hip Hop culture and it has shaped who I am as a person. I would like to pass on some of my influences, down to whoever may be coming up next”, said Marchitect in regards to the new album
