Legendary Bronx Rapper NINE Is Back With A New Album

Nine is a Bronx native who started his career with Funkmaster Flex in the early 90’s. His breakout hit “Whatcha Want” seemed to come out of nowhere and was the hottest song in the streets at the end of 1994 and going into 1995. “Whutcha Want?” was the lead single released from Nine’s debut album, Nine Livez. Produced by Rob Lewis, it became Nine’s most successful single, becoming the only one to make it to the Billboard Hot 100. It peaked at #50 on the chart, and made it to #3 on the Rap charts.

After a period away from the Hip Hop limelight, Nine joined the Snowgoons «Goon Bap» project in 2016. There were talks of new music and Nine finally decided to move forward and start working on a collaboration album with Snow Goons.

When being asked “Whutcha Want Nine?” his answer was “Fat Beats for my Rhymes!” and the Snowgoons are promising to provide a musical landscape that lives up to the hype.

The album entitled “King” will be released September 9th through Goon Musick on all digital formats, CD and limited edition vinyl.
