Success and Excess… Off The Record Convo With Aerosmith

Aerosmith formed in Boston in 1970, and conquered the world of Rock music. Steven Tyler (lead vocals), Joe Perry (guitar, vocals), Tom Hamilton (bass), Joey Kramer (drums) and Brad Whitford (guitar) re-defined their sound decade after decade to remain a staple in American culture. The “Bad Boys from Boston” are often referred to as “America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band.”

Over the course of their unprecedented career, Aerosmith has earned six American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, two People’s Choice Awards, and sixteen Boston Music Awards. Aerosmith was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 13, 1993.

Here is an off the record phone conversation with Aerosmith and Joe Smith circa 1986-1988.
