Pete Rock Raps To Rahzel Beatboxing “The Creator” Live at Brooklyn Bowl

While Brooklyn Bowl may be known for their sixteen lane bowling alley and their food, provided by Blue Ribbon. They are also know as a live music venue that features all types of music, including a healthy dose of Hip Hop acts and deejays.

Recently they booked Rahzel & Friends which featured Pete Rock, Large Professor and DJ JS-1 and an opening act of Sadat X, Baby Rahzel and DJ Rob Swift. In this classic footage from the event, Pete Rock raps his verses from the Hip Hop classic “The Creator” while Rahzel lays down the track recreating the original via the human beatbox as only he can!

DJ JS-1, who provided the footage, had this to say about the performance, ” I remember thinking, ok i get that he is doing the drums and bass line but how the hell is he doing the horns separate at the same time. Incredible. It’s so awesome to be part of moments like this. I got to spin for Pete Rock while he rhymed at BB King’s once, but seeing him do The Creator with Rahzel on the beat is a real treat.”
