The 49ers are having good times, and plenty of success with their latest collaborations. They have the lead off song “All Night Long” from The Volta Masters album AT WORK Vol. 3, which at press time was the #4 Hip Hop album on Itunes Japan, and The Thomas Prime collaboration “Music Plays On” from In Ya Mellow Tone Vol 6 which was #3 on The Japan Itunes Charts at press time. In addition to these collaborations Marchitect recently released Passport a collaboration album with New Zealand producer SoulChef. The 49ers have kept busy wrapping up their 6th studio album which features Thurro, Thomas Prime, Navid B, and Hip-Hop pioneer Positive K to name a few.

LATE ‘Is the Future’ and a ‘Real Hip Hop Representer’ he has mastered all forms of Hip Hop from Graffiti, Breakin’, DJing and Emcing how many artists can say that? LATE is a true innovator and has always pushed the boundaries, he thinks outside the box while staying true to his Hip Hop roots.
He was the only artist in the UK to release a track featuring 50 MC’s from all over the UK, Europe, USA and Jamaica before mp3′s so every verse was sent via the post on CD. LATE alongside long-time producer Tricksta were the brainchildren behind the print magazine called RAGO Magazine which dropped its first issue in 1999 to help promote Hip Hop music worldwide, RAGO Magazine is still going strong and has now been online since 2007.
LATE is all set to release his new mixtape ’LATE is the Future’ which is all produced by Tricksta. It is concise and gets to the core of what to expect from thistrue innovator whilst gearing you up for the release of this new album ‘Street Science’ dropping this Summer 2012.

Marchitect from The 49ers and NewZealands #1 producer SoulChef, have teamed up to release the long awaited joint album “Passport”. The collection takes you on a journey around the world musically, with concepts that Hip-Hop fans in any country will relate to. The albums raw, yet polished sound creates the perfect musical bed for Marchitect’s smooth lyrics. This one was definitely worth the wait and is expected to make some noise, in Hip Hop circles globally. They even made the guest appearances count by keeping them to only a few, but those being strong with Jas Mace, Mr Winston from Invincible Bullies, and long time Marchitect collaborator Frankito.

In the late 90′s and early 2000′s Rise and Shine was slated to be the next group to ride the wave of success from Rawkus Records. This gem of a song, featuring Planet Asia, and The 49ers which went unreleased has resurfaced about 12 years later, and has the lyrical quality that makes it sound like it’s brand new. “Never Too Late” is the fourth song to be released from the forthcoming LP History Will Absolve Us from Marcel Cartier & Agent of Change. The track features Nana D and Wordplay, who is part of Logic’s People’s Army collective.
The song touches on many different issues, such as the pressure on people to live a “normal life”. This often means to graduate from university, get an average job, and then retire– as opposed to being able to actively pursue one’s dreams once the “real world” hits. It is also focuses in large part on domestic violence and the need for women to be liberated from patriarchal relationships.Wordplay’s verse is a personal tale of struggling to pay his bills while his girlfriend leaves his side
