Rane and Serato present The DMC World DJ Championships 2011.

It goes down October 6th and 7th @Indigo 02 at the 02.
It’s The Battle for World Supremeacy and the World Team Battle.

On Thursday it runs from 5:30 pm to 11:30pm, and on Friday it runs from 7pm to 11:30.

On Friday 30 National Champion Djs compete for the ultimate Dj Accolade- DMC World Champion!

Special Guests Include The X-Ecutioners, The Boxettes featuring Hobbit, and hosting and performing will be Inja. Also performing is Dj Switch, Dj Ligone, Nathan “Flutebox” Lee and The Clinic, and Dj Tigerstyle.

Schooly D to perform at “The Jam House” in Philadelphia

Hip Hop Legend, Philadelphia native, and creator of the Gangster Rap Genre Schooly D will perform at the 8th installment (Tuesday 9/6/11) of the “Jam house,” a weekly event (Created by Roots Member Dice Raw) that showcases the areas top talent.
The show takes place at the Legendary J.C.Dobbs on South Street in Philadelphia.

Schooly D is credited for creating Gangster Rap, and influencing Ice-T and Eazy E directly with his signature rhyme cadence from The Hip-Hop classic “PSK”. Schooly has stayed busy with solo albums, and production credits for clients that include The Cartoon Networks Adult Swim.

Dj Amaze Creates Dj Course and Curriculum

“Be the DJ” Is a Dj Course and Curriculum that was created and is taught by Dj Amaze. Amaze, is a staple on the Delaware Valley (Philadelphia, Delaware, Northen Maryland, and Southern Jersey) Hip-Hop and party scene. Known for his flawless party blends, as well as his production, and original music as an artist, Amaze teamed up with other area Dj’s to teach the course at The Christina Cultural Art Center in Wilmington Delaware.

Students learn to interact with music in a more hands-on method. The Disc Jockey is known as the foundation of popular music with the ability to promote, share, and remix songs. This course introduces participants to the art of DJ’ing, use of equipment, various techniques for mixing music and career opportunities.
