Times are Good For The 49ers

The 49ers are having good times, and plenty of success with their latest collaborations. They have the lead off song “All Night Long” from The Volta Masters album AT WORK Vol. 3, which at press time was the #4 Hip Hop album on Itunes Japan, and The Thomas Prime collaboration “Music Plays On” from In Ya Mellow Tone Vol 6 which was #3 on The Japan Itunes Charts at press time. In addition to these collaborations Marchitect recently released Passport a collaboration album with New Zealand producer SoulChef. The 49ers have kept busy wrapping up their 6th studio album which features Thurro, Thomas Prime, Navid B, and Hip-Hop pioneer Positive K to name a few.

Marchitect from The 49ers and NewZealands #1 producer SoulChef, have teamed up to release the long awaited joint album “Passport”. The collection takes you on a journey around the world musically, with concepts that Hip-Hop fans in any country will relate to. The albums raw, yet polished sound creates the perfect musical bed for Marchitect’s smooth lyrics. This one was definitely worth the wait and is expected to make some noise, in Hip Hop circles globally. They even made the guest appearances count by keeping them to only a few, but those being strong with Jas Mace, Mr Winston from Invincible Bullies, and long time Marchitect collaborator Frankito.

Yaheard Records, artist Marchitect has released his new video “The Realist Things” The self Directed video features Video Myke Clarkson as the director of photography and was filmed in his native Newark Delaware. Marchitect is one half of the group The 49ers (along with Jas Mace), and has had a busy year as they released two full length albums, and an Ep. This song is from his upcoming mixtape Marc:My Words and was produced by David Lee for DLP. The track features a smooth piano, where Marchitect flows straight through, until his memorable hook at the end of the song. The 49ers Release New Album SOULSTICE

Hip-Hop duo The 49ers, released their 5th full-length studio album on Oct 12, 2011 titled SOULSTICE. The album is a collaboration with the Japanese production collective ZDW. The 49ers group members Marchitect and Jas Mace, handled all of the lyrics, recording and mixing, while ZDW provided the musical beds. The result is a more expansive sound, as the group manages to maintain the creative concepts and lyrical acuteness, their fans have grown to love. SOULSTICE is the follow up to the critically acclaimed album MUSAIC.

Since emerging on the Japanese Hip-Hop scene in 2007 (after years of being independent artists in the United States) The 49ers have racked up a #1 on Itunes, participated on multiple #1 albums on Itunes, and have been featured on dozens of artists songs.The albums diversity is displayed on the singles, Carnival featuring songstress Acharu, Summer of Silence (which has a music video, that pushes the envelope in terms of creativity and uniqueness) and Endless Rhymes pt. 2 featuring Nieve amongst others. The 49ers and ZDW offer us a universal Hip-Hop sound, which can only truly be described as music for the World.

The 49ers can be heard on Yaheard Records artist page here on Yaheard.com. They are a group who turned their modest success in The United States, into International fame. Since their introduction to the Japanese Hip-Hop market they have positioned themselves as staples to the genre. It’s hard to mention Japanese Hip-Hop without mentioning The 49ers, due to the fact, they are one of the few groups who incorporate English Lyrics, and Japanese Lyrics from the artists they collaborate with. Their releases that they’ve recorded for their Japanese fans, are truly Bi-Lingual showing that Hip-Hop Music is a Universal Language in Itself.

United States Hip-Hop duo The 49ers have released their new album MUSAIC through I-Tunes. The album was initially released exclusively in Japan, the only region in the world where the Physical Cd’s are available. The Itunes release of MUSAIC was intended to let loyal fans outside of the country of Japan enjoy the new critically acclaimed album. “We look forward to our fans outside of Japan, getting the chance to let the new album sink in, and to let them check it out even if they don’t want to buy the import” said Marchitect.
