Off The Record – A Conversation with Barry White
Barry Eugene Carter, better known by his stage name Barry White, was a singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and composer. He is known for his deep voice, complex orchestral arrangements, and superb songwriting skills. The Two Time Grammy Award winner rose the top of the music industry in the 1970’s, and remained in the business until his death in 2003.
During his illustrious career, White earned 112 gold albums worldwide, 41 of which also attained platinum status. White had 20 gold and 10 platinum singles, with worldwide record sales in excess of 100 million records, and is one of the best selling artists of all time.
